[archive] Anritsu - ME7873L LTE RF Conformance Test System
Nouveautés de ANRITSU SA

Japan, 9th February 2011 - Anritsu Corporation is pleased to announce that it has obtained the world's first Global Certification Forum (GCF) 80% validation for the company's RF/RRM Conformance System test cases covering all LTE frequency bands now in use by commercial LTE services.
Long Term Evolution (LTE) is a new mobile communications service based on global standards, but each country offering LTE service uses different frequency bands; Japan uses Band 1, Europe Band 7 and North America Band 13.
Mobiles and data cards using LTE services require GCF approval for each frequency in use as well as 80% validation of test cases used by each conformance test. Anritsu's ME7873L LTE RF Conformance Test System supports RF/RRM test cases; it has already received GCF approval for Band 1, Band 7, Band 13 and Band 20 for RF conformance test cases as well as for Band 13 and 20 for RRM. This new approval adds Band 1 and Band 7 for RRM.
As a result, Anritsu's RF/RRM Conformance System is the first to achieve the required GCF 80% validation of test cases for LTE terminals for all LTE bands now in commercial use. Anritsu is continuing to expand the number of GCF-validated test cases to assure the smooth rollout of commercial LTE services worldwide.
The ME7873L will be demonstrated at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona from 14th February 2011 in hall 1 stand 1B31.
